This policy explains what HomeVault collects, why, and how you stay in control of it.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and home address. When you file a record, we store what you upload — photos, documents, and the details you add (brand, model, purchase date, warranty terms).
How we use it
We use your information to operate your archive: organizing records by room, surfacing warranty reminders, and keeping your timeline accurate. We don't sell your data, and we don't use the contents of your records for advertising.
Where it's stored
Records are stored on encrypted infrastructure. Access is limited to what's required to operate the service — your documents are never reviewed manually except to resolve a support request you've opened yourself.
Your rights
- Export your full archive at any time from Settings.
- Request a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Delete your account and all associated records permanently.
